Before You're A Client

Explore Sage Street.

Before you become a client, you'll schedule an Explore Call with Evan to see what working with Sage Street is like. We'll get to know you and what you're hoping to accomplish.

If we both decide it's a fit, you'll sign the necessary documents to become a client and begin your journey through the Sage Street System.

Discovery

Where we lay the foundation. We figure out who you are, what you want, and what your money actually needs to do.

Phase 1 · Foundation +

Your Sage Street System journey begins with finding your purpose. The goal is to dig deeper into what we discussed during your Explore Call.

We'll introduce tools to help clarify what you really want, give you visibility into your expenses, and walk you through your early financial plan. Behind the scenes, we're already crunching numbers and lining up the rest of the work.

Launch

Where the plan gets built. Over several meetings, we work through income, investments, taxes, and protection — and identify what to actually do.

Phase 2 · Income +

We analyze your current retirement trajectory and coordinate your portfolio income with the other levers you have — Social Security, business distributions, and anything else producing cash flow.

You'll see a projection of your income across the full arc of retirement, with clear opportunities for improvement.

Phase 3 · Investments +

Once we understand the income you'll need, we can see what your investments actually have to do to support it.

We'll walk through our recommendations, the reasoning behind them, and the data we're using. You'll have full room to ask questions. We don't move forward until you understand the plan and feel good about it.

Phase 4 · Taxes +

Taxes are often your largest lifetime expense. A real tax strategy is essential to keeping more of what you've built.

You'll see an analysis of the tax implications baked into your current plan, and we'll show you where there's room to reduce what you pay — both now and in the years ahead.

Phase 5 · Security +

The best plans fall apart without the right protection around them. We'll review your insurance and estate coverage so you're covered no matter what happens.

This is full-picture work — we look at how your estate plan, your insurance, and your business structure all interact so nothing falls through the cracks.

Phase 6 · Action +

This is where the plan goes from document to reality. We open accounts, move assets, set up tax-efficient distributions, and put every piece of the plan into motion.

You'll have visibility into every step. Nothing happens without your sign-off.

Step 03
 

Cadence

Where the relationship actually lives. We stay close as your life and the tax code keep changing.

Phase 7 · Follow Up & Follow Through +

After your plan is in motion, we don't disappear. We continually review your needs as your business, your family, and the rules around you keep shifting — making adjustments along the way with your approval.

You'll meet with Evan in the Spring and the Fall, and check in with our team in the Summer. In between, we're a phone call or email away whenever you need us.
