Founder & Financial Advisor ## Hi, I'm Evan Hammond. I'm a Charleston native, a husband, and a father of three. I grew up running the aisles of my family's boat shop, and that entrepreneurial upbringing is what eventually gave me the nerve to launch Sage Street Wealth. I know what my clients live with, the weight of building something and wanting to protect it, because I'm doing it too. I bring that perspective into every relationship. Outside of work, my life centers on family and the outdoors. I fish, camp, hunt, host friends, and stay active because it keeps my energy and balance where they need to be. Two things people are usually surprised to learn: I'm a Captain in the US Army Reserve, and I learned to read, write, and speak Mandarin Chinese, with more than eight months spent living in China. All of it comes back to the same belief. Relationships and time matter more than anything you can measure on a balance sheet. He was a dedicated business owner, and his foresight in having a financial plan in place made a profoundly difficult time much easier for my family. That experience is why I became a financial planner. The name "Sage" honors both my dad for his wisdom and the sages who guided me after he was gone — a constant reminder of our core purpose. To offer the same wise guidance and dedication to our clients that was given to me and my family. STREET Where daily life happens — the grit, the grind, the hustle. "Street" represents the practical, boots-on-the-ground reality of our clients' lives. I vividly remember my dad at his boat business, bringing multiple clean shirts to work, only for them to be covered in sweat, dirt, and grime by day's end.
